About Trevor
Trevor Brent Taylor
Trevor is a solo pianist who’s love for music began at a young age and started piano lessons when he was 7 years old. His love for music began at a young age and started piano lessons when he was 7 years old. Growing up, Trevor was generally quiet and struggled to express his feelings, however, he found that playing the piano gave him the ability to express himself.
He began writing his own music at 14 years old, often writing about a time in his life or experiences he had. Whether having to say a “Long Goodbye,” to his brother he wouldn’t see again for 4 years or asking his ailing dad to please, “Stay,” music was there for him. Trevor’s “Joys of Life” include spending time with his family, cooking, playing or watching sports, and following in his dad’s footsteps by building or fixing things around the house.
Trevor dedicates his original album, “There With Me,” to all the people who were there for him along the way. He is filled with gratitude towards so many individuals he cannot name them all. There have been so many friends and family that have supported him over the years..
He is immensely grateful to his loving parents who supported and encouraged his life-long love of music. Trevor can feel his dads heavenly presence close by whenever he plays and he believes his dad still pulls up a chair along side to watch and listen.
Trevor expresses an appreciation and deep love for his wife and children whom he cherishes. He also wishes to give thanks to his devoted piano teacher who recognized his talent and taught him with a caring approach throughout his entire youth.
Trevor is profoundly grateful to God and his Savior, Jesus Christ.
Trevor hopes the music he writes will help uplift others and bring the happiness, fun, peace, and healing he felt when he wrote them.
